  • White labels keep closing. ProgressPlay and Grace Media together lost 14 more sites, following heavy losses in the summer.
  • Big suppliers are shrinking. IGT, High 5 Games, Admiral Technologies and Tom Horn all reduced their UK presence.
  • Brands are being renamed. Arrise is moving away from the "Pragmatic Play" name, as Maple Media did in July.
  • Small operators are leaving. Independent bookmakers and adult gaming centres are exiting steadily, some through revocations for unpaid fees.
  • Jumpman is using TV brands. It added sites built on well-known TV formats.
• Short Summary for August 2026

  August was quieter, with about 9 licences added and about 22 removed, mostly small betting shops, adult gaming centres and charity lotteries. The main new remote entrants were DZBT Services AT GmbH, HYPES SB UK and SB Technologies Japan.

  Domain activity was dominated by white labels:

  • White Hat Gaming took karamba.co.uk, hopa.com, griffoncasino.co.uk and bettarget.co.uk inactive.
  • Grace Media shed its bingo sites. At least three of them (chitchatbingo, pandabingo and uk-bingo.net) had been added as ProgressPlay white labels in late July, so it looks like a migration.
  • playuk.com also moved from Grace Media to ProgressPlay.

  Launches included midnite.com going active, plus casinogo.com, proper.bet, bettabet.co.uk and match15.com. BresBet and Bet St George went inactive in late August, and Bet St George's domain was removed in September after an investigation by the Gambling Commission.
